BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF '!'HE CITY OF L I'1`' M ROCK:
Sectil) I. That it shall bed unlawful for any person
firm or corporation or any employee, agent or servant, of any
person firm or corporation, to drive or operate any motor truck
or other vehicle of more than weo Con capacity, or any vehicle
of any kind or character carrying a load exceeding one ton in
weight, over or upon Cedar Street from Asher Avenue to Lee Avenue,
or any portion of said street between said points in the city of
Little Rock, provided nothing in this ordinance shall prohibit
driving or operating such vehicles across said street at other
street intersections.
Section II. Any person, firm or corporation or any
employee or servant of any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not
less than 9`10.00 nor more than X25.00.
Section IlI. This ordinance being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety,
an emergency is hereby declared and same shall take affect and be
in force immediatly after its passage.
