ARKANSAS, I PITO A LOCAL IiaPROVEI` -0.NT DISTRICT AZID DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDS THEREOF, SAID DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS STREET IMPROVE EIM
DISTRICT N0, 354 OF TIM CITY OF LITTLE, ROCKS ARKANSAS.
WHEFJ,,AS, more than ten owners of real property within
the bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock,Arkansas, to take steps looking toward the mal.-
ing of local improvements therein by grading, draining ' curbing,
guttering and pa.ving,with Asphaltic Conerete3,Concrete,Warrenite-
.6itulithic or any other material which the Connissioners may deem
best,.a,ll that portion of the following streets in the City of
Little Rock,Palaski County Arkansas,execpt the intersections of
Streets heretofore paved: 8hester Street from the North property
line of West Twenty -Ei hth(23th) Street to the South property line
of West Twentieth(20th} Street;Now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CMTY OF
LITTLE ROCK,APZCTSAS:
SECTION 1. That Street Improvement Distrdot No, 354
of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,be, and the seine hereby is,
creAted,laid out and established for the purpose of grading,drain-
ing, curbing ;guttering and paving with Asphaltic Concrete, concrete,
Warrenite•Bltulithic,or any other material which the Comissioners
may deem best,all that portion of the following streets:
Chester Street
from the North property line of West Twent,r Eighth(28th) Street
to the South property line of West Twentieth(20th) Street,excep..
ting the intersections of Streets heretofore paved;in tine City of
Little Rock,Arkansas,in accordance with an Act of the General
Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled "AN ACT TO REGULATE THE
YANIMR OF ASSESSING REAL PROPERTY FOR LOCAL IMPROVEENTS IN THE
CITIES OF THE ?FIRST AND SECOND CLASS ", approved :arch 22nd,1881,
and Amendments thereto,
SECTION 2. That the District hereby created, laid out
and established shall include that portion of the City of Little
Rock,Arkansa,s, embraced within the boundaries herein described,
as follows: A11 property~ bounding d abutting on the Streets to
be improved,as set out in Sect ion /iereof,and running back therefrom
for a distance of 150 feet.
SECTION 3, That all Ordinances and parts of Ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,and this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage
and publication; and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty
(20) days from the passage of this Ordinance to publish same in
some newspaper of eneral circulation in the City os Little Rock,
Arkansas,for one(j) insertion.
