ORDINANCE NO. 3222.
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE ARKANSAVI 7.'ATER
COMPANY TO : AY WATER MAINS AND ERVICE LIKES
TO CURB LINE ON CERTAIN STREETS-9 AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDxINXED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LI`TLE ROCK:

SECTION ?.. That the .'_rkansaw Water Company to and
the same is hereby ordered and directed to lower the water mains
and service lines on Thayer and Rice Str:;ets from Prospect Avenue
to 3rd Streets(and on 2nd and 3rd treets )from Thayer to Rice Streets,
that the same shall be done within thirty days after t,e said
company has received notice of passage of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. If the provisions of this ordinance are
not complied with the said company shall be deemed guilty of
a misdcseanor and :upon conviction in the municipal court shall
be punished by a fine of not less than 4291 nor more than $50
and each da.gtq violation shall be a separate offense.
SECTION 3. T'-at the City Clerk is hereby directed
to serve immediately a copy of this ordinance upon the duly
authorized representive of said company.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect from
and after its passage.
