` MREAS, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little Nock, ?ulaski County, Arkansas, herein-
after described, have Petitioned the City Council to take steps
toward the making of local improvements trierein bj% forming the
territory hereinafter described into an improvement district for
the purposes hereinafter set out
THEREFOKE B ,' IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTHE
CITY OF LITTI3 ROCK:
SECTION 1: That said Street Improvement District No.
S $� I of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is cre atod
and established for the pur nose of making local improvements
therein by building a sanitary sewer system with the necessary
mains and laterals to serve said property and to provide an oizt-
le t for said system and grading, draining, curbing and ,uttering
the following streets:
Lee .Avenue from its intersection with the east line
of Monroe Street, produced south, to its intersec-
tion with the west line of Lot 9 of Block 28 of
Pulaski Heights Addition, produced southl
Woodlawn Avenue from its intersection with the east
line of Lot 1, Bloc$ 24 of Pulaski Heights Addition,
produced north to the east lire of Van Buren Street;
F Street from the west line. of Jackson Street to the
east line of Van Buren Street;
Spruce, Monroe, Jackson and Van Buren Streets, res-
pectively, from the south line of Prospect Avenudi
to the north line of Lee Avenue. All to be done in
such manner and with such materials as the commissioners of
said district shall determine to be for the best interests of
the District, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accord-

ance with an act of the General Assembly of the State of
Arkansas, entitled "An Act to Regulate Local Improvements
in Cities of the First Class ", approved March 22nd, 1881,
and amendments thereto;
That the boundaries of said District shall embrace
the following property -
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Block 24; all of Blocks
259 26 and 27; Lots 1, 29 31, as 99 102 11 and 12 of
Block 28; Lots 19 29 30, 13, 14 and 15 of Block 31;
all of Blocks 32, 33 and 34; Lots 1 to 6 inclusive
of Block 35; Lots 1 to 7 inclusive of Block 37; all
of Blocks 38, 39 and 40; Lots 1, 2, 3, 99 10, and 11
of Block 41; Lots 1, 2, 31, 59 6, and 7 of Block 44;
all of Blocks 45, 46 and 47, all in Pulmski Heights
Addition.
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Block 1; Lots 4, 5, 69 7 and 8
of Block 2 of Pfei fer's Addition.
All that real property lying within 150 feet south of
the south property line of Lee Avenue from the west
property line of Monroe Street to the east property
line of Jackson Street.
SHCTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from
the date of its passage to publish the same in some newspaper
published in the City of Little mock for one insertion,
Passed June 25th, 1923.
