ordinance assessing the value of the benefits received
by tie others of the several blocks, lots and parcels of land
situated within Grading, Curb and Gutter District ivo. 337, of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
.M. —R.Si13, the majority in value of the property holders

owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit-
uated within Grading, Curb and Gutter District No.337, of the
City of Little Rock, _lrkansas, organized for the purpose of
grading, draining, curbing, guttering and laying of water any_
sewer pipes and the repairing or removing of curbing, guttering,
sewer and water pipes and drainage openings in and on the streets
set out in the petition, have petitioned the Council of the City
of Little mock for the construction of said improvement and that
the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said
district according; to benefits received; and
rTiEMAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot
and parcel of real property, railroad and railroad rights of way
situated in said district eaual or el.ceedt the local assessment
thereon; and
yMHEI AS, the estimated cost of said improvement is 025,433
and the assessed benefits amount to ;;!40,346.
TIUIREFOPM, it is now ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, ,.rkansas :
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots and parcels of re=al
property situated in said Grading, Curb and Gutter District No.337,
be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement
district, as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk
of said City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and as the sane may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors and that ten percent
of said assessment of the value of benefits to each of said blocks,
lots and parcels of land, railroads and railroad rights of way, shall
be paid on or before the first\ day of October of each of the years
1923 to 1932, inclusive, until .the whole of said assessment shall
have 'o:een. paid.

Section 2. That all ordinances of parts of ordinances
in conflict, herewith :are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
