ORDINANCE NO. 3241.
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE', VALUE OF THE B.&N&FITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY MiJ 0 OF EACH OF THE SEV-
MAL LOTS, BLOCKS, PARCEL AND OT1&R SUB - DIVISIONS
OF REAL PROPERTY WITHIN IMPROVEMM DISTRICT
NO. 347 OF THE CITY OF L TTIE: ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WIihREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to be af-
fected and situated within_ Street Improvement District No. 347
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose
of doing the necessary paving, draining, curbing, grading and
plumbing in such manner and with such materials as the commiss-
ioners of said District shall determine to be for the best in-
terests of the District, the street set out in their petition,
have petitioned the City Council of the City of Kittle Rock for
the construction of said improvements and that the cost thereof
shall be assessed upon the real property within said District
4ccording to the benefits received;
WH ER,] AS, the benefits received by each and every lot,
block, parcel or other sub - division of real property situated
within said District equals or exeeods the local assessment there-
on; and
$36,889.00;
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improveibent is
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That the said several lots, blocks, par-
cell or other sub - divisions of real property within said Street
Improvement District No. 347 be, and they are, hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for Street Improvement District
Ks the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Little Pock, and as the same may be annually re- adjusted
by the Board of Assessors, and that nine per centum of said

assessments of the value of the benefits on each of said
lots, blocks, parcels or other sub - divisions of real pro-
perty in said District shall be paid annually on or before
the 15th day of august of each year until the whole of said
assessment shall have been paid.
The first annual payment shall be made on or before
the 15th day of august, 1923.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
