RESOLUTION NO. 11,861
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE USE OF UP TO ONE HUNDRED
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000.00) IN FEDERAL FUNDS AVAILABLE
THROUGH METROPLAN TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF
EXTENDING THE SOUTH LOOP OF I -530 TO CONNECT WITH I -440;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the feasibility of extending the south loop of I -530
to connect with I -440 is a proper use of federal funds available to the City through Metroplan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City is authorized to engage in a cooperate effort with Pulaski County and
the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce to use up to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00)
in federal funds available through Metroplan to study the feasibility and environmental impact
of an extension of South Loop east from I -530 to connect with I -440.
Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional
was not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this
resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
