r` CAN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE V AEUE OF THE BENEFITS TO BE RE-
CEIVED BY THE 01;1NERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND
PARCELS OF LAND '11THIN THE ANNEXATION TO STREET IM ROVJ LENT
DISTRICT NO. 314 OF T_lE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property holders own-
ing proipxt� adjoining the locality to be of ected and situated
the annexation to
iL/ jistriet No. 314 organized for the purpose of grading, drain-
ing and paving with asphalt, asphaltic concrete or penetration
asphalt in such manner and with such materials as the com,_iss-
ioners of said district shall determine shall be for the best
interests of the annexation to the District, "Jest Twelfth.Street
from the West line of Street to the West line of Abagail
Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, have petitioned the co.Mcil if
the City of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement,
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real propert
of said District according to the benefits received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated in said District equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and,
'MREAS, the estimated cost of said i�..provement is $2923.27
exclusive of interest:
THExEFORE, it is now ordained by the city council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That said sevctral b� ock�, lots and parcels of
real property in said District be assessed according to the asse
meat list sor said^ove district as the same now remains
in the office of the city clerk of the City of Little flock, and
as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assess-
ors, and that ten (10 ) per centum of said assessrr:ent of value
of benefits of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land
shall be paid annually on or before the first day of September
of each year until one hundred (100) per centum of said assess-
ment shall have been paid. The first annual payment shall be

made on or be *_ore the first day of September, 1923.
SECTiUN 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
