City of Little Rock, .�r��ansas, to Sewer Improvement District lyo.
93 of the City of Little Rock.
7,1hereas, persons claiming to be a majority in value of the
owners of real property within the territory hereinafter described,
which property adjoins Sewer Improvement District No. 93 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, a duly created and existing improvement dis-
trict in said city, desire to be added to and included in said improve-
ment district and have filed a petition with the City Council of the
City Of Little Rock, Arkansas, praying that said territory be annexed
to said improvement district,and have designated the nature of the im-
provement to be undertaken, and have described the territory to be an-
nexed; and,
Whereas, the City Council has directed the city clerk to pub-
lish, for two weeks, in some newspaper issued and having a general cir-
culation in Pulaski County, a notice calling upon the property owners
within said territory to appear before this council on this day and
show cause for or against such annexation; and,
:hereas, such notice has been duly published and this is the
time fixed in said notice for the hearing to determine whether those
signing said petition constitute a majority in value of the owners of
real property in said territory; and,
Whereas, this council has heard all persons who desire to be
heard upon the question of whether the signers of said petition consti-
tute a majority in value of the owners of real property within said
territory sought to be annexed;

Section 1. That this council has ascertained that the signers
of the petition to annex the property hereinafter described to Sewer
Improvement District No. 93 of the City of Little Rock constitute a
majority in value of the owners of real property within the territory
sought to be annexed, and that said petition for the annexation of said
territory is in due form and properly signed by a majority of the owners
of real property as required by law.
Section 2. That all of the real property situated within the
following described boundaries, to -wit : -
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast 'Zuarter of Section 8, Township 1 North,
Range 12 4gest, Pulaski County, Arkansas, t)aence south a distance
of 857 feet, thence north, 59 degrees, 15 minutes east, a dis-
tance of 355 feet, thence north a distance of 667 feet, to
Twentieth Street, thence west on Twentieth Street 348 feet, more
or less, to point of beginning;
be and it is hereby added to and annexed to Sewer Improvement District
No. 93 of the City of Little Rock, and is f., part of said improvement
district, and the commissioners of said district shall proceed to make
the improvements petitioned for, by constructing a system of sewers
within the above described property, to be located and constructed in
the places and in the manner and of the materials which the commission-
ers of said Sewer Improvement District No. 93 of the City of Little Rock
shall deem to be for the best interests of the territory hereby annexed
to said Sec,er Improvement District No. 93 of the City of Little Rock;
that said annexed territory shell be known as the Mattingly Annex to
Sewer Improvement District No. 93 of the City of Little Rock.
Section 3. That the commissioners shall make the assessments of
benefits for said improvement on the lots in the territory to be an-
vexed on the same basis as if said territory was included in the mrigi-
nal district and shall file said assessment with the city clerk.

Section 4. That all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, and the city clerk is hereby ordered, within twenty
days after the passage of this ordinance, to publish the same in some
newspaper published in the City of Little Rock, for one insertion.
