South Broadway Annex to Street
Improvement District idumber 340
of the City of Tittle Rock,,
Arkansas.
WHEBE.AS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoininD, the locality to be a_fected and situates
within the South Broadway .Annex to Street Improvement District
Number 340 of the City of Little lbek, Arkansas, organized for
the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such manner and with
such materials as the cobrunissioners of said district shall deter-
mine to be for the best interests of the district, the streets
set out in the petition, have petitioned the City Council of
Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the
cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said
district according to the benefits received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, parcel and other subdivision of real _roperty situated
within said district equals or exceeds the local assessment
thereon; and,

Therefore, it is now ordained by the City Council of the
ity of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the said. several blocks, lots, parcels
nd other subdivisions of real property within said South Broad -
ay Annex to Street Improvement District No. 340 of the City of
ittle Rock, Arkansas, be, and they are hereby assessed according
o the assessment list for said annexed territory to said improve -
ent district as the same now remains in the office of the City
lerk of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually re- adjusted
y the Board of Assessors, and that three (3) per centum of said
asessment of the value of the benefits on each of said blocks,
,ots, parcels and other subdivisions of land shall be paid annually
n or before the first day of October of each year, for the first
'ive years, and that five and two - thirds (5 2/3) per centum of
>aid assessment of the value of the benefits on each of said blocks
Lots, parcels and other subdivisions of land shall be paid annually
>n or before the first day of October of each year, thereafter,
Emil the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The first
�nnual payment shall be made on or before the first day of October,
923.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
b in full force and effect from and after its passage.
