AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS

OP THE CITY OF LI'T'TLE ROCK, ARir.AT4 SAS.
WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property holders
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated in Sewer Improvement District No. 97 of tlfe City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making
local improvements therein by building a sewer system therein
and making proper connection of the same into Riffelts sewer,
have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for tiie construction of said improvements and that
the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of
said district according to the benefits received; and
F- T,REAS, said benefits received by each and every
block, lot and parcel of real property situated in said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
:INER-�,'AS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
Seven 'Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -five (4')7,755.00) Dollars;
therefore,

Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels
Of real property in said Sewer Improvement District No. 979
be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment
list for said Sewer Improvement District T.To. 97, as the same
now remains in the office of the C'ty Clerk of Little Rock,

Arkansas, and that -�`�� centum on each of the said blocks,

lots and parcels of real property shall be ,-)aid annually on
or before the lst day of October of each year until
the whole of said assessment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in con -'lict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
