AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING TIC VALUE: OF THE
BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THF, 01r117NERS

PARCELS OF LAND 7ITHIN TM •IZAR.D STREET
ANNEX TO STREET ITVJPROVEI1'fENT DISTRICT NQ.
302 OF TIE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WUREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real pro-
perty adjoining the locality to be effected and situated with-
in the Izard Street Annex to Street Improvement District No.
302 of the City of Little Ro cc, Arkansas, said property being
described as follows, to -:wit:
Lots 1 to 6 inclusive of Block 16; Lots 1 to 11
inclusive of Block 17; Lots 3 to 9 inclusive of
Block 18 and Lots 7 to 12 inclusive of Block 19,
all in Weldon E. 4ri ght's Addition;
Lots 1 to 6 inclusive and 10, 11 and 12 of Block
17; Lots 1 to 6 inclusive of Block 18; Lots 7
to 12 inclusive of Blocks 31 and 32, all in Kimball's
South Park Addition;
Lots 7 to 12 inclusive of Block 11 and Lots 7, 8
and 9 of Block 12, all in flat Worthen's Addition;
Lots 1.2 and 3 of Block 1 and the North Half (N�-)
of Block 8. all in Crawford's Addition. All in the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, annexed for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by grading and pav-
ing in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners
of Street Improvement District No. 302 shall deem to be for the
best interests of the territory annexed, on

State Street to the east property line of Ringo
Street and Izard Street from the south property
line of "lest 23rd Street to the north property
line of `:lest 27th Street,
have petitioned the City Co:_Tncil of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
the ,construction- of said Improvement, and that the cost thereof
shall be assessed upon the real property within said annexed pro-
perty according to benefits received; and
MREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said annexed
territory equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon;

WHEREAS$ the estimated cost of said improvement is
TFEREFO'RE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TH3 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
SECTION 1. That the said several blocks, lots and par-
eels of real property within said Izard Street Annex to Street
Improvement District No. 302 be, and they are hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for said Izard Street Annex,
as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted
by the Board of Assessors, and thatnine per cent ( 911M of said
assessment of the value of the benefits of each of said blocks,
lots and parcels of land shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of cl=ig of each year until the whole of said
assessment shall have been _paid. The first annual pkvment shall

be made on or before the first day of , 1923.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict here,vith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full. force and effect from and after its passage.
