AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS TO BE RE-
CEIVED BY THE OWNERS OP EACH OF THE SEVER AL BLOCKS, LOTS AND
PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 2�2
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANPAS.
Whereas, the majority in value of the property holders own-
ing property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
in Street Improvement District No. 352, organized for the pur-
pose of curbing, draining and paving in such manner and with
such materials as the commissioners of said district shall de-
termine stall be for the best interests of the district, Brown
Street from. the south property line of West 13th Street to a
line extended east from the south property line of Lot 8, Block
27, Jones & WorthenI s Addition, and West 14th Street from the
east property line of Valmar Street to the ?hest property line
of Martin Street and from the east property line of Martin Street
to the west proper�y line of Brown Street, and Martin Street
from a line extending east from the north line of Lot 1, Block
28, Jones & Worthen's Addition, thence north to a line extended
west from the south line of Lot 5, Block 20, Jones & Worthen's
Addition to Little Rook, Arkansas, have petitioned the council
of the city of Little Rock for the construction of said improve-
ment, and that the cost thereof shall be aFsessed upon the real
property of said district, according to the benefits received;
and,
Whereas, said benefits received by each and every block, lot
and parcel of real property situated in said di s urict equals or
exceeds the local assescment thereon; and,
Whereas, the estimated cost of said improvement is $15713.28,
exclusive of interest.
Therefore, it is now ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1, That saic_ several blocks, lots and parcels of real I
property in said district be assessed according to the assessment) st
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the city clerk of the city of Little Rock, and as the
same may be annualy readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that
ten (10) percentum of s-,id assessment of value of benefits of each
of said blocks, lots�nd pare e of lan shall be paid annually on
or before the /;� day of of each year until one
hundred (100) per centum of said assessment shall have been paid,.
The fir al payment shall be Trade on or before the
day of 1923.
Section 2, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con
fli ct herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in
full force and efyect fr)mr: and after its passage.
