AN ORLINANC E LAYING OFF A CERTAIN PORTION OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AR�7_ANSAS, INTO A
LOCAL I12ROVE,1ENT DIST RICT AND D'_'SIGNATING

YHE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ".

within the bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to
take steps looking toward the making of local improve-
ments therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering
and paving in such manner and with such materials as
the commissioners of said district shall determine to
be for the best interests of the district, the follow-
ing street: Marshall Street from the south property
line of Twenty - fourth Street to the south property line
of Thirty -third Street; NOW, THaZEFORE,
BE IT ORDAINL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AteZ NSAS:
Section 1. That "Street Improvement District No. 37
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ", be and the same
hereby is created, laid out and established for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such manner
and with such materials as the co=r�issioners of said
district shall determine to be for the best interests
of the district, the following street: Marshall Street
from the south property line of Twenty - fourth Street to
the south property line of Thirty -third Street; in

accordance with an Act of the General Assembly of
the State of Arkansas entitled, "An Act To Regulate
The Iu,a nner Of Ass c�- sing Real Property For Local Im-
provements In Cities Of The First And Second Class,"
approved Liarch 22, 1881, and amendments thereto,
Section 2. That the District hereby created,
laid out and established shall include that portion
of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as follows, to -wit: All that real property
lying within 150 feet east of the east property line,
and all, that real property lying within 150 feet west
of the west property line, respectively, of ,Iarshall
Street from the south property line of Twenty- fourth
Street to the south property line of Thirty -third Street.
Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with this are - finance are hereby
repealed and this ordinar_cc sh-,:ll take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and publication;
and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty
days from the passage of this ordinance to publish
same in some newspaper of general circulation in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for one insertion.
