Section 1. The privilege is hereby granted to D. T. Pool,
his heirs and assigns, to construct and maintain, at their oun ex-
pense, a cent :in sewer lateral, beginning at the south side of Third
Street at its intersection with :-lice Street, thence south along sai
Rice Street to the right of way of the Llissouri Pacific Railroad
Company, thence in a southwesterly direction along said right of way
to the city sewer, known as the State Sewer with the right to con-
nect with said State Sewer, and to construct all manholes and flash
tanks as may be necessary for the operation of said sewer.
