AN ORDINANCE AUTHORI ""ING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ENTER INTO A LEASE OF CERTAIN GROUND. `V'V'ITHIN THE Cr Y
OF LITTLE ROCK TO THE M.M. EBERTS POST NO. ONE OF
THE AMMICANN LEGION OF ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER
URPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Board of Public Affairs be and it is
.-hereby authorized and directed to enter into a lease with M.M.
Eberts Post Number One of the American Legion of Arkansas, cover -
ing the following described property:
A tract of land at the north end of Louisiana Street and
between the Valley Division of the Missouri Pacific Rail-
road Company and the Arkansas River, more definitely de-
scribed as follows: Beginning at a point where the west
property line of Louisiana Street, if extended, would in-
tersect the north right -of -way line of the Valley Division
of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, thence east along
said north right -of -way line to a point where a line par-
allel to and 20 feet east of the east property line of
Louisiana Street, if extended, would intersect said north
right -of -way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company,
and thence north along a line parallel to and 20 feet east
of said east line of Louisiana Street to a point where said
line intersects the south bank of the Arkansas River; thence
in a westerly direction along the south bank of the Arkansas
River and to a point where the west property line of Louisi-
ana Street, if extended, would intersect the said south bank
of the Arkansas River, and thence south along the west prop-
erty line of Louisiana Street, if extended, to the -point of
beginning.
the said lease to be for a period of twenty -five (25) years, at
a rental of One Dollar 01.00) per year. X
Section 2. This Ordinance shall tate effect from and after
its passage.
