AN ORDINANCE ASSES;:ING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVER BY THE MIMES OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL
BLOCKS, LOTS, PARCELS An OTHER SUB- DIVISIOIIS OF
LAND I VITHIII STR., -= IIvIPROMCENT DISTRICT NO. 365
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AIM:ANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated within Street Improvement District No. 365 of
the City of Tittle Rock, Arkansas, organized for the pur-
pose of making locc.l improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such manner
and with such materials as the commissioners of said
District shall determine to be for the best inter ests of
the District, on the streets as set out in their petition,
having petitioned the City Council of Little Rock, ArkEisas
for the construction of the improvement, and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property wit�iin
said District, according to the benefits received; and,
mEEAS , said benefits received by each and every
block, lot, parcel and other sub- division of rral property
situated r.rithin said District equals or exceeds the
local assessment thereon; and,
Wi-KREAS, the estimates_ cost of said improvement is
Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty -eight Dollars and
Thirty -four Cents, (19,738.34);
THEREFORE, it is now ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little hock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, parcels
and other Suh- divisions of real property within said
Street Improvement District No. 365 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas be, and they are hereby assessed according
to the assessment list for said improvement district as
the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and as the same may be

annually adjusted by the Board cf Assessors, and that

6.3 per centum of said assessment of the value of the
benefits on each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other
sub - divisions of land shall be paid on or the
first day of 1.ay in the year 1924 and that 7 per cen-
tum of said assessment of the value of the benefits on
each of said blocks, lots, parcels and other sub -
divisions of land shall be paid on or iJs#mtt the first
day of aTay in the year 1925 and that 8 per centum of
said assessment of the value of the benefits upon each
of said blocks, lots, parcels and other ub- divisions
of land shall be paid annually on or the first
du y of 'i. ay of each year beginning with 1926 and there-
after until the whole of said assessment shall have

Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage
