That paragraph (b), Section of �- -- Ordinance No. 3290 be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: (b) The city shall pay to the '.rater Company as annual f ire hydrant rer_tal f or such yubl,ic fire hydrants as have been installed and ordered by resolution of the City Council between June 30, 1922, and March 15, 1�) A:, Fifty Dollars (;50.00), per annuri each in addition to the annual rental of Twenty -four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) for pub- lic fire hydrants connected to t'rie system of the Arkansaw 4'1at er CcmYpany as of June 30, 1922; and the city shall pay to the 'dater Company as annual fire hydrant rental for such public fire hydrants as are hereafter ordered by the city and installed by and at tz e expense of the Water C oml=any, in addition tc the annual rental of T,r;enty -four Thousand Dollars (,124,000.00) for hydrants connected with the system of the �.rj :ansaiv Water Company, as of June 30, 1922, the s um tf> of l if ty Dollars (450.00) for each hydrant installed by the MJ t .an,� u-pon the order of the City; and in the event a Com-�� hydrant is not expressly ordered -.iith each extension of water line, a hydrant shall nevertheless be installed for each 500 feet cif such extension.
