AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE AR:aNSAt`d TIATER COMPANY
TO EXTEND +ATER MAINS ON REICHARDT STRE''ET FROM FIFTH
TO EIGHTH STREETS, AND I=NSTALL F L'�E HYDRANTS ALONG
SAID REICHARDT 6TRE111TS AT SIXTH, SEVENTH AND EIGHTH
STREETS, AND FCR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIC CI 1Y OF LITTLE RO`� :
Section 1. That the Arkansaw Water Company be and it
is hereby orderec and directed to extend its water mains along
Reichardt Street from East Sixth to East eighth Streets, and
to install fire- hydrants, at the locations designated by the
Chief of the Fire Dep3, rtment, at the intersections of Reich-
ardt Street and East 6th, 7th and 8th Streets; the said
extension and installation to be done within forty days from
the date of the service of this ordinance on the said Company
aAd the City Clerk is hereby directed to serve a copy of this
ordinance on the proper representative of the said company
at onoe .
Section 2. This extension and hydrants are ordered in
accordance with Section 8 of Ordina -ce No. 3290, passed August
13, 1923, and as amended bT Ordinance 3442 passed lurch 24,1924.
Section 3. That all ordinances, or ports of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repeale6 only insofar as
they conflict with this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in ofrce from and after its passage.
