AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAIN PORTION OF TIE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, INTO A LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDS
THEREOF, SAID DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS "STREET
IMPROVEIVENT DISTRICT N0. ``' OF TEE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS."
V,MMEAS, more than ten owners of real property withir:
the bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Uouncil
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take steps looking
toward the making of local improvements therein by
staxxtixg grading, draining, curbing, guttering aria paving
in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners
of said district shall determine to be for the best
interests of the district, the following street: 1,11artin
Street from the south property line of Markham Street. to
the north property line of West Capitol Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That "Street Improvement District No. �^
of the �;ity of Little hock, Arkansas," be and the same hereby
is created, laid out and established for the purpose of
zxxxJrxxz making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such manner and
with such materials as the commissioners of said district
shall determine to be for the best interests of the district,
the following street: Martin Street from the south property
line of TMZarkham Street' to the north property line of 'Rest
Capitol Avenue, in accordame with an Act of the General

Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled "An Act To
Regulate The Manner of Assessing Fte a 1 Property For Local
Improvements In Cities of the First and Second Class,"
approved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto.
Section 2. That
the District hereby created, laid
out and established shall include that portion of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, embraced within the boundaries
herein described, as follows, to -wit: All that real
property bounding and abutting on the Street to be
improved as set forth in Section 1 hereof and running
back therefrom for a distance of one hundred End fifty
feet.
Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
revealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in
forcer from and after its passage and publication; and the
Jity Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the
passage of this ordinance to publish sairc in some news-
paper of general circulation in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for one insertion.
