AN ORDINANCE, AUTHORIZING THi BOI RD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO COMB CT FOR THE PURCIIAS E

aHERXAS, under Ordinance 3359 the Kayor, the Parks and Grounds
Committee, and a committee of four members of the Little Rock Clearing House
Association, appointed by the council, were authorized to select a site suitable
for park pury?oses and report back to the council; and,
JI 2iLI S, such joint committee so authorized has reported back to
the council, that as a part of such park site, it has selected a site in the
western portion of the city, in which are situated the following described tracts:

AND, NIUMEAS, such selection has been approved by this council;
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public -ffairs of the City of Little Roc':
jis hereby authorized an, directed to contract for the -purchase o? the above de-
Iscribed tracts, and of the "300,000.00 heretofore appro-priated for the T)urpose
Hof purchasing and equipping a nark site, the mayor and the city clerk, after the
icontract for such rnurchase has been made and the title of the above described
4-property approved by the city attorney, are hereby authorized and directed, in
,accordance with the provisions of said Ordinace 3359, to execute and deliver
Ito the owners thereof the city's warrants for the sums of "2051.28, "3076.90,
"7692.30, :;',3598.74 and x2871.79 ,, totaling „19,282.01, and to be
in full payment of the tracts of land above described, title thereto, upon the
consummation of said transaction, to be taken in the name of the City of Little
Ito ek.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
