AN ORDINANCE AMI RING A C : RTAIN PORTION,
H1R &INAFT3R D_3SCRIBED, OF THE CITY OF
LITT ROCK, ARKANSAS TO STREET IMPROVE -
12NT DISTRICT NO, 351 OF SAID CITY.
VI ER71AS, persons claiming to be a majority in value
of the owners of real property within the territory herein-
after described, which property adjoins Street Improvement
District No. 351 of Little Rock, Arkansas, a duly created
and existing improvement district in said city, desire to
be added to and included in said improvement district and
have filed a petition with the city council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, praying that said territory be annex-
ed to said improvement district, have designated the nature
of the improvement to be undertaken and have described the
territory to be annexed, and
1HI &AS11 the city council has directed the city clerk
to publish for two weeks in some newspaper issued and having
general circulation in Pulaski 'County, a notice calling upon
the property owners within said territory to appear before
this council on this day and show cause for or against such
annexation, and
7WRMAS, such notice has been duly published and this
is the time for the hearing to determine whether those sign-
ing said petition constitute the majority in value of the own-
ers of real property
in said
territory,
and

THEROFOR3 BE IT ORDAIN D BY TH: CITY COUNCIL OF
TH], CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
S.,CTION 1. That this City Council has ascertained
that the signers of the petition to annex the property here-
inafter described to Street Improvement District No. 351 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, do constitute a majority
In value of the owners of real property within the territory
sought to be annexed; that said petition fir the annexation
of said territory is in due form and properly signed by a maj-
ority of the owners of real property as required by law.
SECTION 2. That all that real property lying within
150 feet north of the north property line and all that real
property lying within 150 feet south of the south property
line, respectively, of 71right ',,renue from the west property
line of State Street to the east property line of High Street,
all in the City of Little Rc -k, Pulaski County, Arkansas, be
and the same is hereby added to and annexed to Street Improve-
ment District No. 351 of Little Rock, and the commissioners of
said district shall proceed to make the improvements petitioned
for by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such
manner and with such materials as the commissioners of said dis-
trict shall determine `o be for the best interests of the terri-
tory hereby ann3xed� Wright Avenue from the west property line
of State Street to �i: , east property line of High Street,
S&CTI ON 3. That said territory hereby annexed shall
be known as the 1.7right Avenue Annex to Street Improvement Dis-
trict No. 351 of Little Rock, Arkansas,
SECTION 4. That the commissioners shall make the assess-
ment of benefits for said improvements on the lots, blocks or par-
cels of real property in the territory herein annexed on the sale
basis as if said territory were included in the original district

and shall file said assessments with the City Clerk.
S:430TI ON 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the
City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days after the pass-
age of this ordinance to publish the same in some newspaper pub -
lishad in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
