AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY
OF LITTM, ROCIr INTO A STREET I111PROV&MIMT DIS-
TRICT TO BL KNOWN AS SIRE: �T IMPROV 411 -.NT DIS-
TRICT N0. 395 , AND D33IGNATING THT., BOUNDAR-

�~ WHRIAS, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little Rock, ?ulaski County, Arkansas, herein-
after described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps
toward making of local improvements therein by forming the terri-
tory hereinafter described into an improvement district for the
purposes hereinafter set out.

S&CTION 1: That said Street Improvement District No.
395 of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is hereby oreat-
ed and established for the purpose of making local improvements
therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving in
such manner and with such matari als as the commissioners of said
district shall determine to be for the best interests of the dis-
trict, the following streets:
Woodrow Street from its intersection -with the south
line of Block 5 of Roots & Coy's Addition, produced
west across 7,00drow Street, to its intersection with
the south line of Block 1 of Patrick T'ower's addition
produced east across 7oodrow Street; and
47est 9th Street from the west property line of Woodrow
Street to the east property line of Washington Street,
in the City of Little dock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act
of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled "An Act
to Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class."
approved March 22, 18810 and amendments thereto; that the bound-
aries of said district shall include the following property:

Lots 10 29 39 10, 11 and 12 df Block 5 of Roots
and Coy's -Iddition;
Lots 1 to 5 inclusive of Block 7 of Patrick
Power's Addition; and
�',xcept real property included within the above
description, all that real 'property lying within
150 feet south of the south property line and all
that real property lying within 150 feet north of
the north p-rope rty line, respectively, of 'Jest 9th
Street from the east property line of Woodrow Street
to the writ property line of "'ashington Street.
S�CTI Olt 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinan-
ces in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinan-
ce shall take effect and be in force from and after its pasr,age,
and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the
date of its passage to publish the same in some newspaper pub-
lished in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
