An Ordinance laying off a portion of the City of Little Rock into a street
improvement District, to be known as Paving District i-0. „3 9 7
WHEREAS, ten owners of real property in that portion of the City of
Little Rock, hereinafter described, have petitioned the City Council to take
steps toward the making of a local improvement in said city by forming said
territory into an improvement district for the purposes hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That all of the real property situated within the following
territory, to -wit=
Beginning at a point on the North property line of Prospect Avenue at
intersection of said line with the line between Lots 1 and 2. Block 2,
Fairfax Terrace Addition to City of Little Rock, Arkansas, thence in an
Easterly direction along the North side of Prospect Avenue to the West
li #e of Block One (1) Midland Hills Addition; thence North to a point
on the center line of Lee Avenue, which point is five (5) feet south
of the Township Line Between Townships One North and TwO North, Range
12 West; thence East along center line of Lee Avenue to the East side
of North Woodrow Street; thence East, along said center line of Lee
Avenue produced, one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence North, parallel
with East line of North Woodrow Street, five hundred five (505) feet
to a point; thence West, parallel with the North line of Ozark Avenue,
to the center of Martin Street; thence South, along center line of
Martin Street, to intersection of said line with the North side of
Prospect Avenue; thence along said worth side of Prospect Avenue in
a Southeasterly direction to intersection of said line with the line
between Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, Fairfax Terrace Addition to City
of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence in a Northeasterly direction along
said line between Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, to a point where said line
intersects Lot 13, Block 2, Fairfax Terrace Addition; thence in an
easterly direction along the North property line of Lots 119 10, 99
89 71, 60 59 49 39 and 2. Block 2, Fairfax Terrace Addition to a point
where said property line intersects Lot 1, Block 2, Fairfax Terrace
Addition, thence in a Southerly direction along the West property line
of Lot 10 Block 2 of said Addition to the point of beginning all in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas*
to be formed into a local improvement district for the purpose of paving all those
parts of Ozark Avenue, Louise Street, Lee Avenue and North Woodrow Street within
the District, the work to be constructed of such me.terial and in such manner as
the commissioners to be appointed may hereafter determine; and that said district
be designated as Paving District Noe 397 _.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
