An Ordinance Authorizing, the Board of Public Affairs to Contract for
the Purchase of Several Certain Tracts of Land in Section Six,
Township One North, Range Twelve y'eest, to be Used as
a Park Site, and for other purposes.
Whereas, Under Ordinance Number 3359, th.e I.Iayor, the
Parrs and Grounds Comittee and a committee of four members of the
Little Roca: Clearing House Association appointed by the Council were
authorized to select a site suitable for park purposes and report
back to the Council; and,
'Whereas, Such joint committee so authorized have re-
-oorted back to the Council that as a part of such park site, in addi-
tion to the tracts heretofore selected, they have selected several
certain tracts adjacent to the tracts heretofore purchased and neces-
sary for the proper laying out and construction_ of the park contem-
plated in said Ordinance Number 5359; the ownership, description, and
price to be paid for each tract being as follows:

Little Rock IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AID Dl?dWCTED _` O COId`iRACT for the purchase
of the tracts of land above described and of the '300,000.00 heretofore
appropriated for the -purpose of jourchasinS and equipping a park site, the

been made, for a sum not in excess of the purchase price set out ill t_he
preamble hereto, and the title to such tract of land approved by attor-
