An Ordinance Authorizing the Board of Public Affairs to
Contract for the Purchase of Certain Tracts of
Land in Section Six, Township One North,
Range 12 Test, to be used as a Park
Site and for Other Purposes,
Whereas, Under Ordinance Number 3359, the Mayor, the
Parks and Grounds Committee and a committee of four members
of the Little Rock Clearing House Association appointed by
the Council were authorized to select a site suitable for
Park purposes and report back to the Council; and,
Whereas, such joint committee so authorized have re-
ported back to the Council that as a part of such park site,
in addition to the tracts heretofore selected, they have se4
lected certain tracts adjacent to the tracts heretofore pur-
chased and necessary for the proper laying out and constructio
of the park contemplated in said Ordinance Number 3359, the
ownership, description, and price to be paid for each of said
tracts being as follows:
