RESOLUTION NO. 13,670
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONRACT WITH CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT &
MAINTENANCE COMPANY, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $140,052.00,
FOR THE CANTRELL ROAD AT ROBINWOOD DRIVE TRAFFIC
SIGNAL INSTALLATION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Traffic Signal Installation - Cantrell Road at Robinwood
Drive Signal Installation Project, Bid No. 2013 -103; and,
WHEREAS, Construction Management & Maintenance Company, Inc., was the lowest responsive,
responsible bid meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Construction
Management & Maintenance Company, Inc., for Traffic Signal Installation - Cantrell Road at Robinwood
Drive in the amount of One Hundred Forty Thousand, Fifty -Two Dollars ($140,052.00), One Hundred
Twenty -Seven Thousand, Three Hundred Twenty Dollars (127,320.00), plus 10% contingencies.
Section 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2012 % -Cent Capital Sales Tax Project
Funds.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
