An Ordi-,ance Laying Off :: Certain Portion of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, Into zi. Local Improvement District and Designating the
Bounds Thereof, Said District to Be Known as "Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter
Improvement District No. 414, of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas."
WHrRFAS., more th r. 10 o,vn�rs of real property within the bounds
herein_ mentione-- have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to take steps looking toward the :raking of local im-
provements therein by constructing sideviaiks, curbing anl. guttering,
and doing the necessary excavat'_ng, filling, grading; and draining
therefor, upon each side of Vance Street from T`venty -first Street to
Twenty- fourth Street, the work to be done of such material as the
commissioners (to be hereafter selected) may deem best.
Novi, therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section I. That "Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Improvement District
No. 414 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas," be and the same is here-
by created, laid out and established for the purpose of constructing
sidewalks, curbing and guttering, and doing all the necessary excava -�
ting, filling, grading and drainingt therefor, upon each side of Vance
Street, from Twenty-first Street to Twenty- fourth Street, the work
to be done of such material as the commissioners (to be hereafter
selected) may deer:: best, in accordance ivitii an act of the General
Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled: "An Act to Regulate
the Mgmner of Assessing Real Property for the Local Improvements
in Cities of the First and Second Cla.: -- s," :3.pproved !A, rch 22, 1 31,
and amendments thereto.
Section 2. That the district hereby created, laid out and es-
tablished, shall include the following described real property, to-
wit: Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Block 27; Lots 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12,
Block 26; ?pots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Block 30; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
Block 31; Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Block 34; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
Block 33; all in Bra,gg's Second Addition to the City of Little Rock.

Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
publication; and the city clerk is hereby ordered within 20 days
from the passage of this ordinance to publish same in some newspaper
of general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for one
insertion.
