e Authorizing the Board of Public Affairs
for the Purchase of the Property of Mrs.

Range 12 West to be used in connection with

the, sum of two thousand dollars in payment thereof,
and for other purposes.
Whereas, Ordinance No. 3359 authorizes the,
purchase of certain tracts of land to be used as a park
site, included in which was the property of i:Irs. Chris-

described, and
Whereas, Ordinance No. 3598 author izl%o t he
paymentfor such property as had been purchased by the
issuance of warants from the three hundred thousand
dollars previously appropriated for that purpose, and
Whereas the afore mentioned three hundred thousand
dollars had already been expended before contract was
entered into with hirs. Gatharina. Now, therefore;
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock;
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City
of Little Rock is hereby authorized and directed to
contract for the purchase of the following described
property, lying in the County of Pulaski and State of
Ar'�:ansas, to -wit;
A portion of Lot 18 of Adams Subdivision of the
West Half of the Southwest Quarter of the: Northeast
Quarter of Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 12 Vilest,
more particularly described as follows; Commencing at
a point twenty feet south of the northwest corner of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said 6ec-
tion 6, thence running east 210 feet for point of
beginningY, thence south 150 feet, thence west 50 feet,
thence south 170 feet, thence east 160 feet, thence north
320 feet, thence west along Markham Street 110 feet, to
place of beginning.
Section 2. After a contract for said purchase has
been made for a sum not in excess of the appropriation
herein providad, and the title to such tract of land is
approved by attorney to be selected by the Mayor and
Board of Public Affairs, the Mayor and City Clerk
hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver to
the owner of said property the City's warrant or warrants
in a sum total not exceeding two thousand dollars to be
in full payment for said tract of land so purchased, the
title upon the consumation of said transaction to be taken
in the name of the City of Little Rock.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, only insofar as
they conflict with this ordinance, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in full force from and after its passage.
