Section 1. It is hereby ascertained end declared
in accordance with and as required by Section I of Act #210
entitled " An Act to Facilitate the Funding,of the Debts of
Counties, Cities and Incorporated Towns", approved March
23, 192-`:), thalt the indebtedness of the City of Little Rock
outstanding at the time of the adoption of Amendment No. 11
to the Constitution of the State of ,,,.rkansas was 1# 903,000.00o
all of which indebtedness is still outstftnding-
Section 2. This ordinance ohall be published immediately
after Its passage as required by such act in the ;Irkanaas
GaZette, a newopaper published in the City of Little Rock.
Section 3. It is hereby ascertained cmd declared th t
by reason of the henvy indebtedness h nging over the city it i0
untible to procure or maintain proper facilities for the
extinction of fires, proper police protection or p oiler safe—
Guards for the public health, and that therefore it is immediate-
ly necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health rmd
safety th-,,t this ordinance should go into effect immediately,

its passage.
