LEVELING THE IITFI LD OF TIS RACE COURSE IN FAIR -PARK IN ORDTR

AND OTgZR ATHLETICS,AUTHORIZINO THE BOART? CF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO CONTRACT FOR T`-IIS WORK, AND FCR OTIi R 2U7RPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the sum of five thousand dollars, or
as :Huth thereof as may be necessary, 2x be and the sarye i.s
hereby appropriated out of any money or moneys in the general
revenue fund not otherwise a npr o pr iat e d for the purpose of
gr adi T and leveling the infield of the race course in Fair -
Park in ceder to put it in swh shape that it may be used for
baseball, football, track meet events and other athletics,
and recretaional sports,and the Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and directed to immediately let contract
or contracts for this work,and the Iiayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the city's warrant
or warrants in the sum total of $5,000. )0 payable to the
party or parties to whom contract is let,and bearing such
maturity or �, aturities as in their judgment they deem to the
best interests of the city.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or pasts of ordinances in
eonflIct herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they
conflict with this ordinance, and this ordinance sh -x,11 be in
full force and effect from and after i!s passage.
