An Ordinance Assessing the Value of the Benefits to be Received
by the Owners of each of the Several Blocks, Lots and Parcels
of Land Within Curb &. Gutter Improvement District No. 404 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
;ll M- AS, the majority in value of the property owners
adjoining the locality to be affected and sit-'.)ated within Curb
and Gutter Improver.:ent District No. 4C4 of the City of Little Rock,
organized
rrkkansas, /for the purpose of making local improvements therein by
grading, draining, curbing and guttering with such material: and
in such manner as the commissioners may deem to be to the best
interests of the district, the following streets lying within
said district:
Crestwood Drive from the east side of Prospect avenue to the
east side of Beech Street, and
Jackson, Monroe, Spruce, Palm and Beech streets from the
south side of Cantrell road to the north side of Crestwood Drive,
and all intersections of aforesaid streets.
Have petitioned the City Council of Little Rock for the
construction of said improvement and that the test, thereof shall
be assessed ui-,on the real prcperty within said district according
to the benefits received, and
17HERE-AS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot
acid parcel of real yroperty situated within said district equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereon, and
,'1�_EA5, the estimated cost of said improvement, exclusive of
interest, is $20,735.
T1?ERE it is now ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property in said Curb 84 Gutter Improvement - District rio.404 be and
they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said
improvement district as the same now remains in the office- of the
City Clerk of the City of Little rock, and as the sane may be

annually re- adjusted by the Board of Assessors and that four (4)
percentum of said assessment of the value of benefits to each of
said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be paid on or before
the first day of Ilay, 1925; that eight (S) pereentum of said
assessment shall be paid annually on or before the first day of
May of each of the years 1926 to 1937, inclusive, until the whole
local
of said/assessment shall be paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
