AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A CUTAIN PORTION,
EREINAFT—Ea DESCRIBED, OF Th"E' CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, -NO -NIT AS, ANPIEX 41,
TO STREET
IMPROVEMCMT DIU TRICT J413, OF LITTL ROCK, ARKANSAS.
NEE.iEAS, persons claiming to be a majority in value

of the owners of real property within the territory hereinafter
described, which property adjoins Street Improvement District No.413,
of Little Rock, Arkansas, a duly created and existing improvement
district in said city, desire to be added to and included in said
improvement district, and have filed a petition to the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, praying that said territory
be annexed to said improvement district, and have described the
territory to be annexed, and,
WhExtEAS, the City Council has directed the City Clerk
to publish for two weeks in some newspaper issued and having a
general circulation in PulasKi County, a notice calling upon the
property owners in said territory to appear befo -e this council on
this day and show cause for or az:ainst said annexaticn, and,

EAS, such notice has been duly published, and this
is the time fixed in said notice for the hearing to determine
whether those signing said petition constitute a majority in value
of the owners of real property in said territory, and,
NEBItEAS, this Council has heard all persons who desire
to be heard on the question of whether the signers of said
petition constitute a majority in value of the owners of real
property within said territory sought to be annexed.

THEriEFOr.3, BE IT OziDAINED BY Try.: CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITILE iiOCK, ARKANSAS,
Section 1. That this Qouncil has ascertained that
the signdrs of the petition to annex the property hereinafter
described to Street Improvement District ho.413, of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, do constitute a majority in value of
the owners of real property within the territory sought to be
annexed, and that said petition for the annexation of said
territory is in due form and properly signed by a majority of
the owners of real property as required by law.
Section 2. That Lots Twenty -three (23) to Thirty -six
( (36) , inclusive, of Block One (1) , in Young's Park
Addition;
Lots One (1) to Eleven (11), inclusive,
of Block Seven (7) , Young's Parx Addition;
Lots Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18)
of Block Three (3) in Young's Park Addition,
All in Little hock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
Be and they are hereby added to and annexed to

Street Improvement District 4413, of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and are a part of said improvement District, and the
commissioners of said district shall proceed to mare the improvements
petitioned for by doing the necessary grading, draining, curbing,
guttering and paving in such manner and with such material as
the commissioners of said Improvement District No.413,of little
Sock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, may deem to bb for the best interests
of the territory hereby annexed to the said Street Improvement
District No.413,
Beginning at a point on Fountain Street 606.6 feet
south of the south curb'-line of Markham Street, thence
south to the north curb "Line of Capital Avenue, also
that portion of Vernon Avenue beginning on a direct

line between the northwest corner of Lot Eleven (111,
Block Seven (7), Young's Park Addition to the City of
Little mock, and the most westerly corner of Lot
Seventeen (17) Block Three (3), Young's Park Addition
to the City of Little Rock, thence in a southeasterly
direction on Vernon_ avenue to the intersection of
' Ternon Avenue and Fountain Street, Little Nock, Pulas�-,i
County, Arkansas.
That said annexed territory shall be known as Annex No.l
to the Street Improvement District IT0.413, of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 3. That the commissioners shall make the
assessment of benefits for said improvements on the lots in
the territory to be annexed on the same basis as if said
territory were included in the original district and shall
file said assessment with the City Clerk.
section 4. That all ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk is
hereby ordered within twenty (20) days after the passage of
this ordinance to publish the same in some newspaper published
in the City of Little mock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, for one
insertion.
