HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT TO EXCAVATE UNDER THE SIDE
TALKS ON EAST.:SEVENTH STREET AND SOUTH MAIN STREET ADJACENT
TO LOTS ONE AND TWO, BLOCK EIGHT, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, TO A L�NE SEVEN FEET t',TST OF THE WEST PROPE??TY LINE
OF SAID LOTS, AND TO CONSTRUCT k%TD MAINTAIN IN SAID EX-
CAVATION SUBS4IICTUTH.ES AND BASSI ENT FOR A BUILDING TO BE
ERECTED ON SAID LOTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT" ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. That George W. Donaghey, the owner of Lots One (1) and
Two (2), Block Eight (8), Original City of Little Rock,Anow engaged in ex-
cavating said lots for the purpose of erecting thereon a building; now, the
said George W. Donaghey, his heirs and assigns, be and they are hereby granted
permission to excavate under the sidewalks on South Main Street and East Seventh
passage and approval of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs of the City of Little Rock
is hereby authorized and instructed to enter into and complete a lease for the
use of the above mentioned space under the sidewalks by George W. Donaghey, his
heirs and assigns, for a period of ninety -nine (99) years from the date of the
passage and approval of this ordinance at the rental of $1.00 per year.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed only insofar as they affect this ordinance.
