ORDINANCE N0. 4582.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STREET I11PROVE11ENT DISTRICT
NO. 514 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Z1EREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an im-
provement district be established for the purpose hereafter set out.
7HEREAS, after due notice as required by law, th City
Council of the city of Little Rock has heard all parties desiring
to be heard, andhas ascertained that said petition was signed by
a majority or more than sixty (60 °J) per cent in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory;
NO177 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
Sec. 1. There is hereb;� established an improvement
district embracing the following property, to -wit: Lots Twenty—
five (25) to Thirty -six (36) inclusive in Block Seven (7), and
Lots Two
(2)
to Ten (10)
inclusive
in
Block
Eight
(3), all
in
Young's
Park
Addition to
the city
of
Little
Rock,
Arkansas;
and
L& Two (2) to Six (6) inclusive in Block Three (3) in Ferndale
Addition to the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the purpose of
grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving with concrete,
asphalt or any other type of permanent paving the commissioners
may deem advisable, the following mmed streets, to -wit: Fern
Street from the East property line of Pearl Street to the North
property line of Fifth Street (named Capitol Avenue by city or-
dinance); and said.Fifth Street (Capitol Avenue) from the East
property line (extended) of Fern Street to the East property
line (extended) of A14anway, said improvement to be of such width
and thickness and according to such plans and specifications, and
of such materials subject to the limitations above expressed, as
the commissioners to be selected may deem for the best interest of
the district.

Said district shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. 514 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
and
are hereby named commissioners, who
shall compose the Board of Improvement for sail District.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
