An ordinance appropriating 02000.00 from the Auto
Fund for the payment of claims of W.J.Breit, J.C.Jones and
Jim S. Buzbee and Henry F. Miller against the City of
Little Rock.
WHEREAS W.J.Breit, J.C.Jones, Jim S. Buzbee and
Henry F. Miller have filed suits against the City of Little
Rock in the Pulaski Circuit Court to recover for damage to
their property, and
Whereas, by agreements between the above parties
and the City Attorney and Finance Committee of the City
Council, the amounts of said damage have been fixed at
$500.00 in each case;
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; .
Section 1. That the sum of Two Thousand ( 200000 )
Dollars is hereby appropriated from the Auto Fund in payment
of said claims and the Mayor and City Clerk are instructed to
issue warrants payable to W.J. Breit, J.C.Jones, Jim S.
Buzbee and Henry F. Miller in the sum of Five Hundred ($500)
Dollars each, as payment of said claims, upon advice from
the City Attorney that the suits now pending have been
dismissed and proper releases obtained from said parties.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
