AN OR16I;4ANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET ITV]PROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.514 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 514 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving with con- crete, asphalt or any other type of permanent paving the commissioners may deem advisable, the following named streets, to -wit: Fern Street from the East property line of Pearl Street to the North property line of Fifth Street (named Capitol Avenue by City Ordinance); and said Fifth Street (0�itol avenue) from the East property line (extended) of Fern Street to the East property lire (extended) of A�ianway, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot, and parcel of real property situated in said dis- trict equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement•is Seven Thousand Seven Hundred ($7,700) Dollars; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SEction 1. That the said several blocks, lots, and parcels of real property in said district be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clork, and as the same may be annually re— adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that Seven and one —half (7,%) per centum on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the first Page 2 - Ordinance No. 4604. day of august of each of the years 1930 to 1940,inclusive. Section E. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict, herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
