AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATI1. 1, 500.00 AS PRIZE MONEY
Ii THE ALL- APMIRICA AIR DERBY, AID FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT CRDAI '_TjED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTL' ROCK:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,500.00 be, and
the same is hereby, appropriated. out of the General Revenue Fund
of the City of Little Rock, to be used as prize money, to be
paid the winners of the All - America Air Derby, the contestants
arriving in Little Rock Wednesday, July 23, 1930; said amount
.to be disbursed as follows:
To the first plane arriving and landing in the Little Rock
airport 500 of said X1,500.00;
to the second plane ..................30% of said sum; and
to the third plane ...................200 of said sum; and the
.ayor and the City Clerk are 'h..ereby� authorized to issue the
City Is warrant for such amouht� James Lawson, City Collector,

who is hereby directed to secure in lieu thereof Cashier's
Checks fiythe following amounts:
0 750.00 $ 450.00 300.00
Same to be delivered by the City Collector to Luke Christopher,
Referee, for the winner in each instance.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take
efect and be in force from and after its passage.
