AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40,230.00 FOR PAYMENT OF
INTEREST COUPONS OF FUNDING BOVD ISSUE OF MAY 11 1925, OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the sum of $40,230.00 be, and the
same is hereby, appropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund
for payment of the following indebtedness of the City of Little
Rock, due and payable at the Chase National Bank of New York
City on November 1, 1930:
Interest Coupons No. 10 for six (6)
months' interest on the Funding Bonds
numbered 123 to 1910, inclusive, dated
May 1, 1925, total principal being
$1,788 000, the amount of said interest
being $40,230.00;
and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to issue
a warrant therefor, payable to the Peoples Trust Company, for the
purposes herein recited, of such maturity 'as they deem for the
best interests of the City.
Section 2. That the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to forward to the Chase National Bank of New York City,
out of the Bond and Interest Fund, the sum of 053,000-00 to pay
the principal of Funding Bonds numbered 123 to 175, inclusive,
same being; due and payable at said Chase National Bank of New
York City on November 1, 1930.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage.
