ORDINANCE N0. 4778.
All ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE 07',11iERS
OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, AND PARCELS OF LAND MTHIN STREET MPROVRIENT
DISTRICT NO.515 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
71HEREAS, the majority in value, and being a majority of more than
seventy five percent (75%) in value, of the property holders owning proper-
ty adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement
District No. 515 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
purpose of clearing, grading, curbing, guttering, terracing and paving in
such manner and with such materials w1hich the Commissioners of said Improve-
ment District may deem for the best interests of the said Improvement District,
the following streets situated within the boundaries of said Street Improvement
District No. 515, to -wit;
ART -;NR STREET, from its intersection with Prospect Avenue to its in-
tersection with "Q" Street, and from its intersection with Normandy Road to
the South boundary line of Normandy, an addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas;
GARFIELD STREET, from its intersection with Prospect Avenue to its
intersection with "Q" Street, and including the East side thereof and the
�dest side thereof;
HORTANDY ROAD, from its intersection with "Q" Street to the West bounda-
ry line of Normandy, an addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
CLEVELAIND STREET, from its intersection with "Q" Street to its inter-
section with Normandy Road;
have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the con-
struction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon the real property of said district according to benefits received; and,
111HEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel
of real property situate in said district, equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment thereon; and,

AREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is Thirty Four
Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Two and 31100 Dollars ($34,762.31), exclu-
sive of interest charges;
THEREFORE, IT IS NUN ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, that said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said District be assessed according to the assessment list for
said improvement district as the s& a now remains in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City* of Little Rock, Arkansas, and that five percentum (5 %) on
each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of December until the whole of said local assessment shall be
paid;
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the sane are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in force and
effect from and after its passage.
