AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. J
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
V6HEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the property located liithin the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an im-
provement district be established for the purpose hereafter set
out.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by lava, the city
council of the City of Little Rock, has he ?rd all parties desir-
ing to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was sign-
ed by a majority of more than 4) '"r per cent in assessed
value of the ovoners of real property within said t.=itory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property:
The South Half (S1 of Block 426;
The South Half (( S 2 )) of Block 433;
All of Blocks 427, 428, 4?02 431 and 432;
The West Half of Block 429;
Lots 6, 7 and 8. Block 429; all in DuVallts
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
and
All of Blocks 5, 12 and 13, and Lpts 1, 2 and 3
of Block 20, all in Fultonts Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
Lots 1, 21 11 and 12, Subdivision of Block 13,
Rapley Estate, all in City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
for the purpose of repaving with some type of asphalt the following
streets:
West Twentieth (20) Street from vest side of
Main Street to east side of Center Street;
Vrest Tv: enty -first (21) Street, from west side
of Main Street to east side of Center Street;
West Twenty- second (22) Street from west side
of Main Street to east side of Center Street;
Louisiana Street from the north side of Twentieth
(2:0) Street to the north side of Tvyenty -third (23)
Street;°
in such manner as the commissioners to be appointed shall determine
to be for the best interests of the district.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement

_Mahlon D. Ogden J. M. Ensor , and
w Thompson , are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Bonrd of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall +..ake effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
