ORDINANCE NO. 4834.
An Ordinance Assessing the Value of Benefits to
be Received by the Owners of Each of the
Several Blocks, Lots and Parcels of Land
within Street Improvement District Number
516 of the City of Little Rock.
Whereas, the Majority in value of the property
holders owning property adjoining the locality
to be affected and situated in Street Improvement
District Number 516 of the City of Little Rock,
organized for the purpose of making local improve-
ments therein by the building and re- building of
curbs and gutters, constructing and repairing the
drainage and raving Iffest Second Street from the
"lest side of Gaines Street to the East side of
Ringo Street have petitioned the City Council of
the City of Little Rock for the construction of
said improvements and that the cost thereof shall
be assessed upon the real property in said District
according to the benefits received; and
77hereas, said benefits received by each and
every clock, lot and parcel of real property sit-
uated in said District equals or exceeds the local
assessment thereon; and
Whereas, the estimated cost of said improve-
Ment is 16,063.63;
Therefore, Be It Ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock:
Section 1. That the said several blocks,
lots and parcels of real property in said Street
Improvement District Number 516 be and they are
assessed according to the assessment list for

said improvement district as the same now remains
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock, and as the same may be annually re-
adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that
one - fifteenth of said assessment of the value of
benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels
of land shall be paid annually on or before the
first day of June of each year co.mencing in
June 1931, until the vrhole of said local assess-
ment shall have been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or Darts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage.
