FOR THE DRAINAGE OF THE 11-- UNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAITTED BY TIE✓ CITY COUNCIL OF U'7 C!7-, OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. The Board of public Affairs having duly advertised
for bids for furnishing such drainage pipe as may be necessary, for
the drainage of the Municipal Airport, in accordance with Ordinance
No. 4843 dated 11arch 30, 1931, and having returned these bids (abstract
of same attached) after advertisir_`;, with recommendation that the
lowest bid of ShVmman Concrete Pipe Company, North Little Rock,
Arkansas, in the amount of �p 18,799.00 or so much thereof as may
be necessary, in accordance with specifications on file in the
office of the City Engineer, be accepted. The City Council
hereby authorizes and directs that the said lowest bid be accepted.
Section 2. The sum of u12,799.00 or so much thereof as may
be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Airport Bond Fund
in payment for the above described Drainage Pipe and the 17ayor
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue
warrant or warrants upon the Airport Bond Fund in payment thereof.
Section 3. It being immediately necessary far the safety
and efficient handling of Air Transport that this Drainage :Tork
be completed, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be in force from and after the date of its passage.
