Gentlemen: The undersigned is desirous of building an open filling station and store building combined at the northwest corner of 20th & Pine Streets. The City Council has authorized a permit for the construction of this building, but at the time the ` riter petitioned the City Council, 1 did not set out the type of building that 1 wish to construct. The type of building that I am desirous of constructing is a stucco on metal lathe, and I am told by the City Engineer that it will be necessary to get the Fire Committee to okay this class of construction. I am told by our insurance Department at the d. B. Worthen Company, Bankers, that the difference between a stucco rate and a tile rate is .05V per hundred. In other words, the stucco rate would be .50V per hundred and the title rate would be .4N. Trusting you will grant this application for the stucco building. Yours very truly, - Manager Real Estate.
