AN OBHIX"CE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF LOWEST BID RECEIVED
BY W C 71011 ^ THE AIRPORT COLM TTEE FOR FURNISHING BERMUDA GRASS
SEED FOR aEEDING APPROXIMATELY 125 ACRES OF THE 1UNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT OHDAINED BY `1'H.E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1, The Ch�tiiti'`b- the Airport Committee having received
bids for furnishing grass seed for seeding approximately 125 acres
of the Municipal Airport, as per abstract of bids hereto attached, the
City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of the lowest bid re-
ceived of the Bass- Zsgrig Seed Company, Little Rock, Arkansas, at
26� per pound, for such a number of pounds of grass seed as may be
necessary, not exceeding the amount appropriated in Section 2 hereof.
Section 2. Me sum of 41,000,00 or so much thereof as may
be necessary, is hereby appropriated for the purchase of the above
described seed for the purpose mentioned herein, and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue warrant or
warrants upon the Airport Bond Fund in payment thereof, not exceeding
the amount specified herein.
Section 3. It being immediately necessary for the efficient
handling of Air Transport that this seeding be completed, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in dorce and
after this date of passage.
