AN ORDINANCE AP:ENDING SECTION 17 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3913 AS
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4515 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That section 17 of Ordinance No. 3913 as amended
by Ordinance No. 4515 be and the same is amended in its entirety
to read as follows:
"Section 17. Boulevards. The following streets shall be
boulevards: Broadway from 1.1arkham street to Twenty- fourth Street,
Fourteenth street from College to Park Avenue; Battery street from
Seventh street to 7iright avenue; Third street from the Rock Island
depot west across the viaduct, turning north at Summit avenue and
continuing northwest onto Markham street at Barton street, and thence
west to Cedar street; Prospect avenue from its intersection with
Markham street to and including its intersection with North Hayes
street; East Ninth street from Main street to College street, inclusive;
`vest eighth street from Tdiain street to Summit avenue, inclusive, and
Cantrell Road from and including its intersection with Edgehill Road
west to the City limits gave and except the intersection of Cantrell
Road and Prospect Avenue, at which intersection traffic on Cantrell
Road shall come to a full stop before entering Prospect Avenue."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
are, in so far as they conflict herewith, repealed.
