AN ORDINANCE LICENSING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED
W7 -H LOUD SPEAKER OR RADIO ATTACHMENTS FOR ADVERTISING PURPOSES, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDINANIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to operate
any motor vehicle within the city limits of Little Rock for the purpose
of advertising any event, M ace, article or commodity by means of a
radio or loud speaker attachment contained in or upon said vehicle
without first having secured a permit therefor from the City Collector.
Section 2. The City Collector shall issue said permit upon
the payment of the sum of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per week or fraction
thereof for the operation of each such vehicle, payment to be made in
advance.
Section 3. Every such vehicle shall be kept moving in the
line of traffic upon the streets of Little Rock whenever the loud
speaker attachment is in operation and no such loud speaker shall be
operated with such volume as to disturb or annoy residents or occupants

of business houses or buildings adjacent to the street along which said
vehicle is being operated.
Section 4. All ordinanceSin conflict herewith are, in so far as
they do conflict, hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after the date of its passage.
