(Over) 3 801 -SO7 EAST MARKHA Little Rock,Ark. August 6, 1931 11r, Tohn P. Baird, Chairi:Lan Street Committee City of Little Rock Dear John: S T. I am writing to again call your attention to the condition of the southwest corner of : "arkham and Rector streets, which has no sidewalk on either r3arkham or :lector. As you 1mor this is one of the most prominent corners in the wholesale district, and in wet weather such as we are having now the pedestrians are forced to take to the streets on account of the muddy condition of the dirt walks. I understand this piece of property is opined by 7T F. Ault, and certainly it would not work a hardship on hire to put down sidemalks, which you must agree should be done. rwerybody in this district is complaining of this condition, and you will earn the thanks of all if you will take the necessary step to see that sidoti°ralks are constructed and promptly.
