AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BF RECEIVED BY
THE 01'IVERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF
LAND piITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 518 OF THE' CITY OF
LI`T`TLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
t,MEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders
o-n.ing property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
in Street Improvement District No. 518 in the City of Little Rock,
organized for the Purpose of making local. improvement therein by
repaving with some type of asphalt the follo�Fing streets:
!,Test TirTentieth (20) Street from wrest side of
Main Street to east side of Center Street;
West Twenty -first (21) Street from west sice of
Main ►street to east side of Center Street;
tiest Twenty- second Street (22) from west side of

ain Street to east side of Center Street;
Louisiana Street from the north side of Ttrentieth
(20) Street to the north side of Twenty-third (23)
Street:
have petitioned the city council of the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, for the construction of said improvement and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in sair' district
according to the benefits received; and,
'VHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block
lot and parcel of real property, -^ailroad and railroad right of
way situated in said district equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
Twenty Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($20,515.00);
and the assessed benefits amount to T- %7enty /Thousand, 94.-�tt Hundred

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock:
Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and. parcels
of real_ property, railroads and railroad rights of •.-,,ay in said Street
Improvement District No. 518, be and they are hereby assessed according
to the assessment list as the same no-,- .7 remains in the office of the
#2.
city clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that six (6)
per centum of said assessment of the value of benefits to each
of said blocks, lots and parcels of land, railroads and railroad
rights of way shall be paid annually on or before the lst day of
October, in each of the years 1931 to 1942, inclusive.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force an? effect from and after its passage.
