AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE No. 3999
AND FOR OTHER -'UR 70 3 ES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That ; -Dection 3 of Ordinance No. 3999 be amended
in its entirety to read as follows: "All signs hanging over the
sidewalk or alley within the corporate limits of the city of Little
Rock, shall be inspected once each year by the Superintendent of
Public storks or his assistant. Any sign found to be dangerous to
the public shall be taken down and shall not be hung again until
it meets the approval of the :Superintendent of Public .{orks or
his assistant and said sign shall be again inspected by the superin-
tendent of Public .-forks or his assistant after being repaired and
rehung. The fees for the inspection of any sign hanging over the
sidewalk or alley, whether swinging or attached to the building,
provided that said sign is not placed or does not extend above the
windows of the second floor of any building, shall be One ($1.00)
Dollar )er sign. The fees for the insl :,ection of any such sign which shall
extend above the windows of the second floor of any building shall
be Two and 50 /100 Dollars ($2.50)9 per sign.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
